It took some time to finally take the pictures of the model that was 98% completed a long time ago. The only thing I`ve added is the beaching trolleys.

And some under construction pics:

Hi Filip

Fantastic! Submit it as a Feature - that really should be on the Front Page!

Rowan, sorry for the delay!
I would be glad to write something for a featured article! That would be an honour. I will PM you as soon as I have something.

It really is a wonderful model, with spectacular attention to detail overall. Amazing!

May I ask just how you made those tiny but perfect turnbuckles??

Many thanks for your kind words!
The turnbuckles are made of stretched cotton buds tube and the loops are made of an electric wire. I twist the wire on a hook made of the insulin injection needle until it maakes into a loop. You put the loop into a tube and that`s it.

Now that I like!
Fantastic work Filip.

Love the naval lozenge and wood grain paneling.

Ahh, sounds far easier than it should be when doing it
At 1/48 scale you really need steady hands, sharp eyes and thin copper wire...helás I only have the last part of this equation.
Thanks for sharing it Filip!
