Special Hobby: Yak-3Posted: Wednesday, July 19, 2017 - 08:55 PM UTC
Special Hobby have re-released their excellent Yak-3 without the hi-tech extras in a cheaper, standard boxing, this time with markings for a trio of Soviet aces.

Very comprehensive review, Rowan. Seat belts are a problem I agree, since Radu Brinzan doesn't offer his wonderful line for Soviet planes, nor do HGW have a set IIRC.

Cheers Bill
Seeing the new release has re-inspired me to get this beauty onto the workbench in the near future. When I realised it doesn't include seatbelts, I checked on Special Hobby's website and found they stock Eduard's pre-coloured etched belts, and also on HGW -
who you'll be pleased to learn do a dedicated Yak-3 set of their laser cut belts.
All the best
