Oh boy. I'm a Convair Delta fan-- and have had a "Delta" project going for some time now with the 1/72 Hasegawa Dagger/Dart combo and an Italeri Hustler. The Hasegawa Dart/Dagger are so old, but the markings were for the 460th FIS- one of my favorites, so I bought them on sale. I've been re-scibing, carving and modifying to get them up to par. Finally, I took the plunge, put my scriber down, and bought the Meng Dagger and Dart. I wonder how this Trumpeter version compares? How's the price? It's gotta beat Meng's price, and one can never have too many Darts---there are so many great tail markings for these aircraft!! I recently photographed the Dart at McChord Field---I'd love to do another one in those colors-- perhaps this will be the kit! Thanks Trumpeter!

I can finally use those great Microscale F-106 decal sets I've been hoarding for the last 40+ years.

Yes that tail is a great canvas for Squadron markings. I have built Mengs Dagger and that was a great kit to put together
