Academy has released a 1/72 scale British Apache, and here Kevin Brant has a look in the box and does a quick build and paint.

As a side note, the proper name is a WAH-64D Apache since the British version is license built in the UK by AgustaWestland.

Great review. Cosford is my local air show and I remember that display well. Not sure if I have any photos. I'll certainly keep my eyes open for this one.

Thanks, and for the name, I know not always to trust wikipedia, but I had seen the AH1 designations else where too. Thanks for the correction.
