Thanks for the good review, Andy. It seems to me that Special Hobby is working hard to make a good name for themselves. I bought recently two of their kits and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and what you get for the price (resin alternatives, photo-etched parts). I haven't built none yet, but in the box they look very attractive.
Cheers!

Thanks Gabriel.
SH are becoming a very good manufacturer of kits, with a wide range of subjects.
I'm building their 1/32nd Tempest MK.IV at the moment and despite the large parts count, numerous resin and P.E parts, it is a thoroughly enjoyable build.
The Helldiver looks a lot simpler but looks as though it will go together well.

Neat , Nice review m8 . - years back , when i could still see 1/72 kits -- i done the original Academys boxing and they were pukka kits , so i went back for 3 more !! -- also , ive still got 1 more of the Academys kit , that i couldnt finish because of a broken clear part - the rear canopy , and i couldnt get a reply from Academy ( proper useless/ lazy customer service 😨) - so perhaps i should send a begging email to 'Special Hobby' to ask for a spare canopy 😆
