Are there any pre made oil washes?

Vallejo is great for both airbrushing and particularly brush painting. The low toxicity of its thinner and cleanup products is a plus.
However the acrylic primers (not just Vallejo) are next to useless if you're iteratively filling/sanding and priming, and I don't think this is the intent for this type of product anyway.
If you're priming for aircraft (or armour?) you need a good lacquer based primer like Mr.Surfacer or Tamiya's surface primer, then you can go with whatever you like for your top and finishing coats.

That confirms my experience and as I always end up doing small touch ups after priming (which usually makes every surface error very visible) vallejo is indeed nextto useless. Long live Ta&miya

I think I am going to go with the Flory wash.
It seems to be very easy to use.
So since I am using VMA I need to spray a gloss coat before using the wash?
What kind of top coat should I use?
I would prefer something in a spray can.

For spray cans Testors and Tamiya both make a good product. I have use both in the past with good results.

So I finished off my p-51 today.
I wont post pics as I dont know how and it didnt turn out so good.

I am moving on to German AFV kits but will surely be back to build a P-40 Flying Tiger kit in the future.
