Adie Roberts gets to grip with ICM’s new Spitfire beer delivery to take a look at the inbox before going on to build it.

ICM released a 1/48 Spit IX around 2000, about the time of the Hasegawa kit as I recall. This looks like it could be a repop. Nice kit, if a little fiddly.

Hi Micheal just checked and it is a brand new tool for 2017, I know the other kits that you were going on about and remember getting furious over the build but this one looks really good so far. I will let you know what it builds up like.

I have this kit in the 2000 and in a Revell reboxing in my stash. This one looks on par quality control wise with the Revell reboxing. The early on had mad quality control but the new ones seem fine.
But a new tool it is not. Just look at the sprue layout, it is identical.

Hi there
I remember when the kit was announced that the question was whether it was just the beer barrels etc. that were new.
I've got to ask - why are a lot of the photos repeated at the bottom of the review page?
All the best
Rowan
