Haven’t posted anything new for some time, mainly because I wanted to finish something at last, and actually – I did finish something.
Lately, I have been concentrated on the resin kits, in September I took two up on my bench: the PZL P.7 1st prototype from Arma Hobby, which still needs some attention, and this Planet Models Avia B-135, both in 1:48th scale.
What can I say about the kit? Well, it has its pros and cons, as usual. It is relatively simple, low number of parts, one-piece fuselage, but first of all – what a beautiful plane it was! On the other hand, it has its shape issues, mainly around the vacuum-formed canopy, some crude detail in the wheel wells, poor fit of the cockpit interior, poor wings/stabilizers/fuselage fit. And the air bubbles, almost everywhere.

But as I said it builds up quickly into a decent miniature of this largely forgotten and esoteric fighter. This build took me less than two months, which is quite fast taking into account my average duration of one year while building simultaneously several kits.
At first, I planned to build her as one of the prototypes flown by Germans, but it would require some changes, not large but potentially problematic, so finally decided to build the one that probably took part in a B-24 kill on March 30th, 1944 over Sofia, Bulgaria.

Hope you like it, best regards
Hubert
