I'm planning a build of Trumpeter's 1/48 F-100D for my great uncle who was a crew chief on one in the late 50's but my kit arrived with the back half of the canopy snapped in two, sprue K3. So far I haven't had much luck in getting a response from either Trumpeter or Stevens International their U.S. distributor.

I'm wondering if anyone knows how I can get a replacement part or if there are any after market replacements out there that will fit the Trumpeter kit.
