Well, as we get close to winding up the PTO campaign a decision had to be made as to which WWII 75th anniversary campaign would be next. The winner is: the Mediterranean Theater of Operations.
This campaign will cover any vehicle, ship, aircraft,or figure from the Mediterranean theater from 1939-45, any nationality. To give everyone a couple of months break, the campaign will run from 1 June, 2018 through 1 December, 2018. To view the rules and sign up, go here.

My ideal would be to sort through the stash and figure out if I have anything that has the Torch yellow surround stars... Does look like I have an A-36 that has decals for planes that served in Tunisia and Sicily.

Yes indeed Africa is included. The ribbon looks the same because it's based on the US theatre ribbons that were the same.

OK, I'm in. Looks like I've got at least 3 candidates; A-36 Apache out of Tunisia or Sicily, an F-6 (Photo P-51) from Operation Torch, or a P-38J out of Sicily.

Michael,
I may join this campaign if after the summer my bench is clear of my 3 ongoing projects.
If so I will do my “Oh not that plane again” 109 G in the form of one of the Cartoon Staffel from JG/53. One that will not be the plane that usually come is all decal sheets (white 9, the sailor) but another one of this cheerful staffel, during its Italian season.

Enlisted!
I have plenty choices here. I guess I go for a Stuka Italian markings or a Hans-Joachim Marseille Messerschmitt. I just ordered a Pz.I... I have a Sd.Kfz 222... a Kubelwagen... an AB-40. I have time to think over, right?
Cheers!

I do have a Malta based Spitfire VC in the stash that's begging to be built. I might be signing up for this.

Hello Michael!
I will participate in the campaign but I am interested in the Greek campaign 1941 and the Italian campaign 1943-45 whether they are in the campaign theme. I ask the question because I have several modeling options and I'm splitting up for my choice.

Yes, I believe these would be covered in this campaign, so go for it!

I'm in, I am sure I can find a BF-109 to build for this one, I know, I know, "How original", But I cannot help it. I love the 109 and try to find a way to build one no matter what the campaign is.

Looks like a good campaign for this kit. I'm not sure about the Griffon photo etch, so that's a decision for later. The box seems so empty compared to some Dragon kits, like their Panzer IVs.
