I have been working on the HobbyBoss easy built Huey for a while and decided to finish it. here it is so far, simple but pretty good overall and it is the only 1/48 scale short body Huey with scribed panel lines.
the pilots are converted from the Monogram Huey, still the best figures in my mind.

Coming along nicely. Good job w/the white. I know white is a b!t@h to get on nicely with no bleeds or smudges.

I was browsing this post, looking at the images, not really reading the words or who was posting what, but then while I was admiring the work on the figures, I knew I recognized the style and sure enough it was Doug. So you've got a very recognizable style there Doug, in case you didn't know already...
Very nice btw.

X2 on what Willard said. Your painting style reminds me a lot of Shepard Paine's work Doug. Really beautiful tonal modeling sir!
