All the recent CSM kits have been styrene. And they're moving into the 1/32 and 1/35 range now, with this kit and thier new Lanchester armored car, whereas they were almost always releasing kits in 1/48 scale styrene. Thier latest offerings in 1/48 styrene have been absolutely stunning, rivaling WnW, but in 1/48 scale. I for one can't wait to see this kit released-- if the CAD drawings reflect the kit, it'll be a stunning model, putting the old Academy/ Hobbycraft kit at the back of the hobby shelf--and that kit was not a bad model, just lacking in detail.
