Saw this posted on Aviation of Japan - FineMolds will be releasing a new tool
Ki -15 Babs in 1/48 scale. Apparently available some time in July.

While the box art shows the later long chord cowling variant , hopefully we may also see the earlier Townend Ring type as well. All my prayers will be answered if we see civilian markings for Asahi Shimbun's London to Tokyo record setting aircraft named " Kamikaze " ! Lifelike - are you listening ?

I don't know how ( or don't have access ) to post this in the News section
where it properly belongs .

Amazing - not another P 51 or Bf 109 !

Oh Happy Day - Richard

Nice choice, but a twin engine bomber would have been nicer...

Still, I'm happy that it is the sleeker later II model that was somewhat more used in WWII...

A ki-30 would have been better, but a Ki-51 Sonia would have really been the ultimate...

Wingsy has promised us a new tool Sonia but so far all we have seen are a few CAD renderings
