No Revell flighty box but a sturdy one inside. The instructions are black and white on paper,

Upon opening the box you will see this, the top sprue lying unprotected on the bag. This is because the bag is to small, saving on the wrong end

Nice details and ok decals.

I ordered some stuff for this build. An Eduard zoom set, and Montex decals and masks. I liked the blue grey sheme together with the red and lightening, so my first aftermarket decal set will be used! I will build the 02 version. Also I ordered Mig paints for a first time, curious if I like them more then Vallejo. Lastly Mr Solvent putty... After all those brands I tried this is such lovely stuff!!!

Since I waited on my delivery I started with the motor block. Well those rods dont fit at all, also reference pics showed that those rods are one size, so I replaced them with styrene rods. I kept the cut of pieces and used the thinner parts as spark plugs for the wiring, I drilled them out a bit as seen on the picture but it seemed I needed to drill them out completely to make I was able to bent the wire along the block.

So then it seemed the back of the block is very visible and just a disc. I tried to recreate the back of the engine as realistic as possible but the seizes dont natch and my skill lacks to recreate some of the finer details. I added wiring from stretched sprue and some other pieces. Not super realistic but I think more interesting to look at then before.

I also build the interior frame work. A bit of hassle to clean it up but it looks nice.

So far so good? Thx for watching, comments are welcome.
Greetings Lars
