I just posted 3 photo's of my F-86D Dog Sabre in my gallery. This is the Revell ProModeler in 1/48 scale that I built about 2 years ago, and I want to build more. I think this is one of the best Revell kits I have ever built! Please , feel free to comment and give suggestions. This is the last Aircraft model that I built, I am just now getting back into it.

Cheers,

Garry

Nice Garry! I really like Sabre "Dogs". The ProModeler kit is very nice-looking.

:-) Nice looking Sabre Dog, Garry
Did you use the kit decals? I've read that the wolfs head is the wrong shade of red? What did you use for the natural metal finish?

Howdy Holdfast, thanks for the comments! Yes I did use the factory decals, I have never heard about the color variation. I know there is a bunch of AM decals out there, I plan to buy a few sets. Then ya know I just have to buy the models to put them on! #:-) LOL!
For the Metal finish I used good old Model Masters Enamel Chrome silver. Then oversprayed it with gloss clearcoat. This seems to work fine for me.

Cheers,

Garry

Gary:
Nice looking kit.
I love the fact in this day and age of high tech everything you did the metal finish like we all did "back in the day" --- Testors Chrome.
