Just want to throw this question out there. I have a 1/72 EF-111A Raven kit and wondered if it would be a simple conversion to make it an F-111D/F ?

You'll need a replacement fin cap (or entire new fin) and something to fill the void when you cut off the ventral avionics canoe. Also replace the intakes with triple plow II intakes from an F-111E kit or aftermarket. Then rescribe the weapons bay doors and Robert's your father's brother.

The intakes will be the difficult part.

Perhaps take the easy way out and do this kit as a Spark Vark while chasing down an -E kit to do as your -D?

I think you get the same kit in the ESCI and AMT boxings (in case of both EF and bombers).
