Hi there
Flitzer strikes again! :-) There's no end to the amazing Luftwaffe '46 projects that he's got as kits! This time it's the sleek and deadly Messerschmitt P1106.
All the best

Another nice review, Peter. It really is a pity that these subjects aren't produced in 1/48. I will admit to being just a little tempted, for the possible colour schemes, as much as anything.

Hello again Mal,
there are some 1/48th Luft 46 kits out there and more seem to be coming.
The potential camo schemes is as much the attraction as anything for me.
We'll have you doing Luft 46 yet
Cheers and thanks

Thanks flitzer! I just got around your site and whow! I like those drawings! I really like those B-2 lookalikes like the Ju-EF 130, ME-329. Very nice work of art! I wonder if ever these go into production...

Hi Shonnen,
glad you enjoyed the trip...
Not many made it off the drawing board...some got to prototypes and even initial production prep, but the end of the war stopped all that as far as Germany was concerned.
But many of the designers and prototype "war booty" went to UK, USA and Russia amongst others, and the work carried out after the war resulted in many aircraft with strong Luft 46 influences.
Cheers

Yeah, some of those variable wing types were even used on the newer Jets like the F-14 and Tornado. Some of those even resembles a Nighthawk and a B-2. This is really interesting.
