Do you think Airfix would ever do one, as I think they pretty much cover 1/24 more than the other companies?
Pretty big at that scale, although probably not as big as HKM's 4-engine bombers in 1/32.

Agree that we need this one ine 1/48 but Im thinking more of a short run - some Czech company maybe. Airfix should concentrate on British stuff ,theres a lot still that we need in 1/48 , Tempest, Beaufort, Hampden, Battle, the list goes on.
