Hi guys and girls,
You can find the built thread here on the site.
I finished this one having some issues here and there, most of my own making. The engine didnt fit too well. Needed some surgery to convince it to stick in reasonable. Lesson learned, more dryfitting even or maybe because my own scratch detailling. I had few problems with the landing gear, a first . With enourmess trembling hands I attached the antenna wires, they could be thighter but I take it. The canopy parts had disstortion and scratches otb. I was affraid to repair them, an error I will live to regret. Next time I will just try or order new ones. For the rest I tried to keep it tidy with minimal weathering. I hope you guys like it. Tips and tops are welcome.

Greetings TC

First Lav I see with exposed engine. Now add this feature to a great paint job and carefull weathering and your model is fantastic Lars. Congrats

Thanks guys for the kind words. It really motivates me to work on the shortcomings on this build to improve on the next (especially the seams).

Any reason both ailerons are down? I would normally expect 1 up 1 down.

Very fine work. I like especially the cockpit. The kit from Zvezda is over-engineered and too complicated in my opinion. I like their Pe-2, but I hated the Bf-109F. No reason to make simple aircraft too complex.

Very nice indeed!

Re scratched clear parts, I recommend Novus Kit Plastic Polish Restoration Cleaner System. https://www.novuspolish.com/ You can get it on e-bay. It's excellent!

Beautiful job, Lars. I have a hereditary moderate tremor in my left hand so I can appreciate the special challenges you had to overcome.
