I assume when it says "never before kitted in this scale" they mean by Special Hobby?

Because my Bronco V-1 would beg to differ if they mean by any company.

Zoinks! Well, in that case I'd like my crow served fried with a side of mashed potatoes.

I’m not a V-1 “kit expert” but have built it in various scales over the years and this is the first kit offering in 1/32 scale from a “mainstream” kit manufacturer (and it’s about darn time too!). Here are some scales I’ve built over the years:

Heller-1/72
Tamiya-1/48
Monogram-1/48 (with HE111H)
Bronco-1/35 (they offer the FI103 and FI106)
Pegasus-1/12

I think there are at least two other offerings in 1/72 from less “well known” manufacturers whose names escape me right now. There are also some older resin kits out there, and Azimut made one in 1/35 scale with a launch rail section I think. This new release will fit well in 1/32 aircraft collections where the 1/35 versions were a little underscale.

Cool - Wonder if we will see a JB-1 Loon in the future?
