Hi all.
I'm no aircraft guy. I like dios. I would like to do a dio of a landing aircraft on an aircraft carrier. I kind of like the E-2 kits. They provide the important option of having the dropped flaps and slats, etc.
But I need a crew and my research shows them wearing the helmets with no masks and hoses. All of the 1/48 seated figures seem to just have the heads with masks and hoses for fighter jet crews. Is there anything I could cobble together to make it work for an E-2 crew? I thought I could get away with the seated legs and torso of a jet crew, but the head would be the big problem in my opinion. My google search did not come up with anything.
Does anybody have an idea?
Bob

You could probably rob them from a Monogram Huey Hog kit.
