Hello everybody,
Today i just want to show you my recent progress from the last 2 days on Zvezda's MI-24p. When i first heard of this model i though to myself that i fancy buying this. And now that i have it i am going to experiment with using new paints, tools and techniques.
This model is the same as the Mi-24 that Zvezda made before, however it has new parts to build the MI-24P, which replaces the front turret with a fixed canon at the side of the fuselage.
On this model i am using an additional seating from another hind kit.
Although i put in the engine interior, i am going to deal it all up to make it look like its combat ready.
Thank you for taking the time to see one of my projects,
Hyder

Thanks for the peek inside. So there is no cockpit sidewall detail included in the kit? Is there any quilting or detail on the front facing side of the rear instrument panel?
I really like the inclusion of all that engine/transmission detail, but the cockpit looks pretty sparse.

This is a very interesting build, I look forward to seeing you develop this kit more.
Incidentally there is a helicopter campaign on at the moment, if you're not in it then I suggest you sign up

Hi everyone,
Here is a follow up from Last progress. Apologies for posting so late since last progress. i have been busy with university work and other things.
airbrushed primed with mr surfacer 1200
Painstakingly riveted with a trumpeter rivet maker.
Additional parts airbrushed black with lifecolour acrylic primer.
I painted the whole model with a khaki colour, then brush pained the dark green and and airbrushed the light blue.decals and varnish soon followed.
The MI-24P is now ready for panel line wash and finishing.

Hi Hyder, looking good, what is your overall view of this kit part fitting, instructions etc?
