Hi folks!

I'd like to share my build of the Tamiya 1/48 A6M5c. This is my first 1/48 aircraft model. Aside from the black primer coat, gloss coat and matte coat, the paint has been handbrushed. Used Vallejo for the model. Would appreciate constructive feedback. Thanks folks.

I like it , you did a fine job and the weathering isn't over done .
The chip paint effect turned out well . Is it too late to add some chipping to the prop blades and cowl edges ?

Nice work for hand painting in that scale, there wouldn't be chipping on the propeller blades because on the A6M5c weren't the blades made of wood? As by that stage of the war Japan was running extremely low on raw materials I'm no expert of course and leave it to those more knowledgeable than myself.

Thanks padawan_82 and thegirl! I read that the cowling was supposed to be primer so I assumed the paint would have more bite. It does a bit out of place without the subtle weathering. Might give it a bit more scratches later on. Thanks for the headsup on the propeller too. Will avoid weathering that further.
