It looks like it is coming along nicely. Is that filler putty on the sides of the fuselage and air intakes?

That is coming along nicely Almonkey. What camo scheme will you be using?
Do you find any problems using masking tape and liquid mask together? I've had problems in the past with the maskol lifting the tape as it dries.

Looking great so far..........Well done, keep it up................

I can't make out much surface detail, is there any? What scale is it?

I prefer the Revell tornado for that reason, loads of detail........lovely! #:-)

Good work...............

ive never had any probs with the maskol/tape way of doing canopies, however this is a fairly simple canopy to mask, anything more intricate(ww2 german bombers for instance) i hand brush because by the time you've masked all that you could have painted it anyway.yes its filler down the sides and intakes, its simply called humbrol model filler, comes in a tube like glue and takes about 24 hours to dry. there is surface detail, but the primer i used swamped it a little, and its not come out too well in the pics.it a 1/72 kit and will be finished in the colours of aircraft number ZA541 R.A.F. p.s. thanks for the encouraging comments

First of all, goodluck on your contest.

Hmm.... what did you do on the wings on the first pic? The figures could have some touch of a wash. Too bad it was already there.

I can't judge the last pic (your most recent one) since it's kinda blurry. A little sanding on the intake will work it out fine.

BTW, is this the 1/48th one?

if you look on the desk by the wingtip in the second pic, you can see the remains of a paint accident i had, theres a pic in the general modelling forum under exploding paint, the wings simply got splashed with black paint that i wiped off, leaving a wash effect
