HI
Like to get the 1/48 Tamiya Swordfish. Do want to build the Swordfish I, but the newer Swordfish II kit is much easier to find. Can I build a Swordfish I with this kit?
Thanks
Eric

I believe the only problem is that the bottom of the bottom wing is depicted as skinned with metal in the Mk.II kit. This was done due to the use of rockets by the Mk.II, which would have burned the fabric wing. The Mk.I radiator is still there though.
You can find a good review here that explains that. Of course, the decals are only for Mk.IIs as well.

P.S.
I would also definitely recommend the Tamiya photo-etch sheet for it as well. It adds a few bucks to an already pricey kit, but it's well worth it for the rigging and engine detail.
