What about WW2 flying boats campaingn?(1939-1945)
Rules:Flying boats and float planes accepted. any scale,any nation,only real planes was in operation(not what if,project and etc).Only military or converted to military use civil planes.
It's very nice looking birds and you have wide choise of the kits.

I have Italeri's 1/72 Sunderland MKIII in my stash perfect reason to build it. (I have Airfix's as well but that'd take way more work!)

Well, I have 2 PBYs, a PBM Mariner, and about 5 float planes. I might not have space for the big ones so I'd like to know if the little ones will qualify.

Less see, I've got a Grumman Duck, Grumman Wigeon, Curtis Seamew, Lockheed Vega float plane, and an Arado A-196 in 1/72 and an OS2U Kingfisher in 1/48. I want to avoid the Kingfisher, it's big and has brass, the Vega fails on the military angle, the Arado and the Duck have a lot of rigging. The Wigeon is tempting, but it's short run technology with butt jointed wings and the Seamew has everything but the instructions.
Looks like I'm gonna have to suck it up and become a real modeler for this one. Anyone have a set of Seamew instructions they can send me???

LOL, I rushed home last night to rescue my Seamew form the shelf of doom. Once you folks got me the instructions, I knew I was in business. I pull the sealed bag and take a quick look at the decals. Wait, wha... instead of a set of star and bar with red surround markings, there's a bunch of British roundels. 
Huh. Seems that this kit was so popular, that they had to release at least two different boxings, 72003 and 72048. Of course I've got 72003 and the on-line instructions are for 72048. The plastic seems the same, but my kit has a simplified resin set consisting of a single piece cockpit, engine front, gunner's station and a single molding for the landing gear if you're doing a ground version. It also has a brass sheet that the 72048 doesn't appear to have.
I'm assuming based on the simplicity of the US roundels that I can still build the blue-gray over gray version off of the USS Denver.
