Academy has finally shown sprue shots of their 1/35 AH-1Z Viper that was announced in their '18 catalog. It looks really nice too. Lots of slide molding and some very nice PE. It is due out in Feb '19.

Very nice! The USMC AH-1Z is the epitome of the AH-1 line so far. The ability to launch Hellfires, TOWs, Sidewinders, and Brimstone missiles makes it very attractive.

there is a brief review of this kit on youtube as well now so it looks like it wont be long until it's available to buy for the general public.
