Here are the two bottles. The caps show the difference in colors. Which is right?

Gunze shade is the best option of the two. I’m speaking out of personal choice but also from ‘sample’ chips from reference publications. Obviously one can add a bit of white to make Tamiya shade less dark. Funny thing is that opinating about the “correct” shade of WW2 colors is just a can of worms, a bit of pointless discussion. Just look at AK new color range, the Air True Colors, it has 2 RLM 02 shades listed, one being darker than the other.

Gary! I second Pedro on this one: I've used the Gunze paint a lot and like the look of it so I would go for that one!

I will use the Gunze. Can either of you recommend a book on colors used by the Luftwaffe that is still in print? I used to have a ton but sold them.
