Hi Gents,

as I consider to build this kit, studied some materials regarding design of the Il2m3. I noticed there is a mistake in Tamiya´s kit. Have a look at bottom surface of wing. There are holes of ejectors for VYa 23mm cannons. Pattern of holes is mirrored acc.longitudinal axis and this is wrong as VYa-23 were not produce as left and right versions. Just see attached pictures. May-be you´ve already known it, may-be important point for those who will build it as same as me

well, acc. drawing I refer in my post, right_hand wing is correct. I also checked it at the photos of real war Sturmovik.

@ Alex: This is nteresting links with another drawing, but no one matchs the tamiya´s kit. In addition, it seems, that VYa ejectors are covered, so I don´t understand presenting of the cannons.

Logical according https://postimg.cc/9476XCdX if ammunition loaded from one side(wing end) extractor must be opposite(fuselage side).Place for ammunition box can't be moved.Possible gun just turned to 180".So extractor hole must be mirrored.
