I am having difficulty with GWH P-61. A lovely looking kit, but I am having difficulty with a key step. I have assempled and painted forward and rear cockpits, as well as gun compartment. However, when I test fit the fuselage halves with the assemblies in place, there is a 1/3 to 3/8 in gap at the forward fuselage. It looks like the forward cockpit floor is too wide. Did I do something wrong? Without cockpit floor front fuselage fit is tight, but works.

Thank you for your help.

It's supposed to fit right on top of the nose wheel well piece. Could it be fouling on some of the interior detail?
