I'm ready to jump into this campaign now, but have a question:
Does this kit qualify as less than 25% completed and therefor valid to use in this campaign?
I am thinking yes, but I wanted to be sure.
Basically the wings are together and the cockpit mostly done along with some interior painting, but the remainder is pretty much untouched.

Some more progress on my ME 262 for this campaign. I have now made a late war camo using AK Interactives new true colors for late war luftwaffe. They go on smooth and looks right to me. They come out darker in the picture than real life. I will make sure to post some daylight pictures later.
Next is some decalling. I am making colorful scheme - more to follow 🙂

Jose,
Not sure if you're entire picture came through. I can't tell what you've got there.

No problem Jose, these things happen! And if something like that makes you a fool, well then we all are!

Hi All,
Jose, no fools here! Looks good, can't wait to see what you do with it!
As for me, following my P-40 fiasco, I'm making steady progress on the Ki-45. This is a nice kit so far, considering it was molded in the early 80's, the detail is surprisingly nice. The engines are even better than the Hasegawa offering, though, once the cowling is on and the prop and spinner in place, not much can be seen.
The instrument panel is pretty bland, so I added some Airscale decals to spruce it up, they can be seen, though barely.
I've closed the wings and the fuselage, and working on the engines. It's a pleasant fast build so far!
Next up will be to dip the canopies in Future, and then mask - oh boy!
Keep up the great work!

Lapman, cool choice. A unusual pusher puller twin. Looking forward to see more.
A little more progress on my Me 262. Decals are on. I could not help add a little artistic license with the eagle on the side. The square area on the eagle will be filled out.
more to follow soon.

Michael,
I'll be the first to jump in and say "extension please!". I got sidetracked with a commission gig (Otaki 1/48 Willow). I've learned much about painting orange! And yes it does peel! There's a joke in there somewhere. I'm fairly close to finishing the "Nick", though I've come to really dislike canopy masking.
If no extension, that's ok, because I can just showcase in Hangar Queen 9!

and I'd be the second to ask: "extension please"
my plan was to finish my ki-46 this week, but with 40°C (104°F) it's very difficult to work on my models.

Can't control the weather.
OK, a one month extension until 1 September is hereby granted. But that's gonna be it, so get cracking!

I am calling this one done. Used some artistic license on the camouflage and decals, but really enjoyed the build. 🙂
