I was also thinking of F-14, but in 48th scale. But decided to build this instead:

I think this is my 1st Kinetic kit. I've read from some reviews that there could be some fit issues, but probably (hopefully...) nothing too serious.

So, today's my birthday (yay.) and I got some pretty good stuff, including a nice decal sheet and some details for the Revell 1/48 F/A-18F. So here's my pick for this campaign:

Jolly Rogers 75th anniversary? Yes, please!

Made a start on my Gripen.
First things first, preventing a tail dragger.

Even with this amount of weight the CoG without weapons attached is still only just in front of the main landing gear. So once it was closed up I dropped a few more sinkers down through the fuselage to help out.

This will be my build...

I understand it's a bit of a dog, but I got it un-started from a friend. I'm PLANNING on doing it as East German... we'll see

Well, I'm off to the races. I intend to build the MiG with the canopy closed and in flight, so my first project is to get the pilot's hands off the canopy rails.

Next up is the dreaded raised panel lines.

Hello to all,

first, I'd like to introduce myself: my name is Alexander, I'm from Germany. My main interests are building tanks and planes (equally) and admiring the extraordenary models you're building...
Currently, I participate in two other campaigns on armorama, but as it happing, there's a nice MiG-27 from Trumpeter waiting to be finished. It's still on the very beginning, only the weapons, the engine and the bang-seat have eben finished so far (without paint).
So maybe I could join this campaign to finish this model?
A starting pic would soon follow...

Greetings

-Alex

Hello Alexander,

If you check the allowed aircraft on the Campaign page, you will that the Mig-27 is not a 4th Gen Aircraft...

Sorry, my mistake!

The post was for the "Hangar Queen 9" campaign.
Maybe someone could move it???

But I'll join this campaign by reading and getting some tips.

Anyway, happy modelling

And thank you for the warm welcome!!!

Given today's news (I know, I should be building models, not looking at the news), I feel the need to build something big and Israeli. Something like this:

But there is a catch. It's a bit started:

Basically, the fuselage is together. That's about it:

The rules allow for up to 25% started but I want to be fair about this. So I'm asking the campaign participants: Can I build this one under the rules? I'll go Hangar Queen with it if you decide it's too much, but I'd like to do it here if you all are OK with it.

BTW, still no ribbon (unless everyone like's Rob's). Just a nudge.

Hi guys!

Not taking part on the builds here as I have to assemble first the stuff on my bench.
But let me help you out again to get alike ribbons for all the xxxGen.-campaigns.

Here's something like the others I did:

Have fun,
Th mas

Nice Thomas, but I think the F-22 is a 5th generation, not 4th. An F-15 or 16 would be a better choice.

My 2 cents.
