Hey all.
Just wondering if anyone here knows if the USAF HH-60G Pave Hawk kit is a new tool kit or is it a reboxed kit of the Army MH-60L with extra pieces for the Pave Hawk?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Rob

The Pave Hawk will be the Army MH-60L with new/extra parts added to make the USAF HH-60G version. All of their H-60 varients will use most of the same basic parts, with the Navy-specific ones being the biggest differences since the fuselages are very different on them; different door/window setup, folding tail, naval rotor head, etc... The interiors will be a little different as well since each version has different avionics, instrument panels, seat layouts, etc.

working at Sikorsky, I can literally say all Blackhawks are the same.... on the outside. the major difference between the UH-60M and the HH-60G, models is the refueling probe and the nose radar package, on the 1/35 kits. the interior of the cabin is different with just the Gunner's and the rear bulkhead seats installed, for the basic airframe - as well as an external rescue hoist. (At least on my first issue models)
To update the basic model you will need the upturned exhausts and a slightly different nose package. Write to Sikorsky Communications department for info and pictures (you have to specifically mention pictures or you will just get a brochure.
The 160th Rescue squadron may be a source as well or look up SIKORSKY HH-60G and/or Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) (HH-60W) on google(images). The G's and W's are a very nice blue-Grey now(the darker shade).

Hi CaptnTommy. Good info, but I think you have some typos.
The UH-60M and HH-60G are very different aircraft. The M has many different features on the fuselage and cockpit.
The HH-60W and the MH-60M are basically the same aircraft as they are both based on the newer M model fuselage.
HH-60W
MH-60M
The MH-60L and HH-60G are basically the same aircraft. They are both based on the L model fuselage.
HH-60G
MH-60L (The in-flight refueling (IFR) probe can also be fitted to the MH-60L as well.)
Also, you can't link pics from your computer's C drive. You have to host them on the web somewhere, then hot-link to them.
I think you were trying to show an HH-60G or HH-60W in AFSOC Gray, like below.
