Hiya peeps,
Well I thought i would have a break from armor, and built myself one of these for a change.
What do you think, I'm about 98% finished. The kit is Tamiya, and i used Alcad paint for the metal finish, hmm....... stufff stinks
something different

That is a good looking model. I like the smoke effect you put on the guns and exhaust.

Not usually a fan of wing things but always appreciate well done aircraft. Great work. I like the invasion stripes. To me those are always the hardest

First off, nice job.
Did you hollow out the guns? It's hard to tell from the pic. If not, that would be my only suggestion.

Nicely done! Very clean finish. However, from your sepia pic (last one) I've noticed an error on the wheel. You've painted over almost half of the silver. Overall nice job!

Shonen,
He didn't paint over the wheel...thats the gear door.
Very nice Mustang by the way. How was the Alclad to paint? What color did you use? The only color our LHS has gotten in was the Chrome, in which all six bottles sold out in like a week, but he is such a moron that he won't bring more in. I was one of the lucky six though!!!

I see what Shonen is talking about and it's not the gear door. If you look at the tail wheel hub, you can see that the forward half is painted black.

Is this kit OOB or are there any aftermarket pieces in it?
Very nicely done
