Evening all!

I finished this project today: the Kamov Ka-50 'Black Shark' by Italeri in 1:48 with loads of added details and an begemot decal set to complete the helicopter. This is the first project where I used aftermarket parts, but I really like the extra detail you get out of it. I hope you like it!

Looks great! How was the assembly? I've got two in the stash waiting for my attention.

Wonderful work, it looks terrific. That Kamov has a ton of details that make it very challenging to build, but you made it with distinction Jasper

Thank you Chris!

The fit was pretty good, with some filling and sanding required in some places. I was surprised by the detail on the kit, the surface detail looks very good I think. It is lacking in some places though, so aftermarket parts will greatly improve the overall result!

Thank you very much Pedro!

It is a very intricate helicopter indeed, but that makes it all the more fun! Thank you for the kind words.

That's very good to hear, Jasper! I bought a resin cockpit for mine and found some resin exhausts for it, so I hope it's enough. I've also got a second in the stash that I'll convert to a KA-52 using the new NeOmega set. I'm thinking I'll build both simultaneously.
