Over on "The MODELLING NEWS"-site, there are more photos and commentary concerning TAMIYA's new up-coming 1/48 P-38F/G kit. This is the "White Box" "Japan Only" kit, which is still representative of what we'll be getting in the "regular" release.
Photos include pics of the "sprue-shots" and the built-up kit. There are also some great "detail-shots" of the various parts still on their trees, showing the fine detail that TAMIYA has engineered into this new P-38. Illustrations include color side and plan-views of the model, showing both choices of markings and decals in the kit's Instructions.
