Thanks for posting this Tim. It has some interesting markings.

The sand one looks to be based on this OH-58D from Operation Desert Shield/Storm ('90-'91).

OH-58D 85-24727, H-Company, 4th Brigade, 3rd Aviation Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division


Here is a link to the ROG kit instructions as well.

Also of note, during Desert Shield/Storm, OH-58Ds were not armed. They were still used as observation helicopters as part of a hunter/killer team.

I come back here periodically looking for discussion on modern helo's and F-16's, F-18's, etc. but don't find much too often. Lol.
