Revell will be re-releasing in September the 1/48 scale B-29 Super Fortress that was originally released by Monogram in the late 1970’s

Great they re-release a fifty years old kit

. Would be exiting if someone like AMK or Kitty Hawk would release a new tooled one!

Agree but alas, it won't be a 50 years old price either! They must have made their money many times over with this kit, so why keep popping them out at about £60.00 a go?
It's a nice kit having built it.....but not THAT nice and with some significant fit issues that are exacerbated by a need for an NMF!

Disappointed it's not new tool. The old kit lacks in surface detail and the barbettes are the wrong shape. Also, the Hamilton Standard prop hubs are way too long.
