How about a campaign based on a change of engines? Either drastic changes like Radial< - >Inline, Jet< - >Propeller or maybe not so drastic Allison< - >Merlin, Merlin< - >Griffon, Daimler-Benz< - >Junkers Jumo, J-79< - >Spey.
Each entry would be the two aircraft involved. Maybe a buddy-build?

Gary:
This sounds like an ambitious campaign. Two models for one campaign doesn't seem to get a lot of participation. Perhaps we could generate more interest if only one model is required and a requirement to do a write up why the model was chosen and what its predecessor or successor was. Also a list of possible candidates might help generate interest. If the rules change to one model I'll probably be interested depending on the timeline. I'd probably build a P-36 or its successor, a P-40. I've been wanting to do a Pearl Harbor project for years. Another one would be a Ki-61 or Ki-100, I have all 4 kits.
Thanks for being willing to take on another campaign. Your contributions over the years are noticed and appreciated by many.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Gary,
A good idea! I would definitely be in, either two models or one. I've tried buddy build campaigns before and, while fun, they can be a bit tricky. But I'm game to try again! If we go for two models, I'd suggest a year.

Actually I was throwing out an idea for a campaign. I wasn't intending on running it. I'm not sure I would participate in it as my record for completing campaigns is spotty.
