Well, 2020 is a year that ends in a 0 and that means a significant anniversary of the crucial Battle of Britain; in this case, 80 years. Anyone up for one of our periodic BoB campaigns?

Happily, it's been busy in the forums lately, so I'm giving this one a bump.

Hmm, doesn't seem to be much interest in this one. I'll give it one more bump to see if we can get it moving. 80th Anniversary!

Howdy Y'all
Count me in! My club is having a Battle of Britain build and I found a Bf-109 in the stash. Academy's Bf-109E3 in 1/48 scale.
Hope this takes off.

Sweet! I have a Blenheim or a Me110 that will fit the bill... And maybe time to organize a new display unit to, ahem, display them in

Hi Michael,
you know I'm a sci-fi guy but I'll give it ago as well...just remind me not to fit phased plasma cannons to spitfire or an x-wing in Luftwaffe colours

Hi Michael
Are you looking at aircraft only? If you can stretch to a Bofors 40mm anti-aircraft gun I could be your no 10....

Thanks Michael, so count me in. AFV Club British Bofors:
Just ignore the D-day markings on the Gooney Bird... They had over 200 of these as at Sept 1939 and the number built under license escalated dramatically from then.

This campaign has been APPROVED! It will run from 1 May through 1 November, 2020 and will allow any aircraft, vehicle, artillery piece, ship, boat, or figure which took part in the Battle of Britain. Lots to choose from, so I hope we'll have an interesting turn out!
To see the rules and enlist, go here, Now, what to build...?

Been lurking around for awhile now and have decided its time to start participating. What better way than with a couple of campaigns!
Enlisted with the new Tamiya 1/48 Spitfire.
Sure hope I'm not getting in over my head as slow as I build
Regards,
Matt
