DN Models have released a numbers and insignia paint mask set, too replace the decals found in Tamiya's 1/48th Spitfire Mk.I.

nice .....but where the RAF Hornchurch Spits. ? .....
everyone forgets there was a MASSIVE RAF Base at Hornchurch in WW1 (called Suttons Farm Aerodrome then).where Leeve-Robinson flew from , when he shot down the first ever Zeppelin Airship ...
and in WW2 it was the main RAF Base that defended London & S.E.England in the Battle of Britain .....
RAF Horchurch gets hardley any mentions now days !!
