This is the Revell A-10 that the DSB voted on for the pig in a pile build . It is OOB except for the MK-82 bombs ,and I also closed the speed brakes on the wing tips . Still a few things to touch up such as the canopy and a few seam lines but overall it is about done . I used silly putty for masking during painting ,I must say it does wonders ! The payload is for a training run ( I hope it is right ) did a little research on the bombs so if I'm wrong - sorry - enjoy Toad out
before decals
There is a rule that DSB or your pig # has to be on the model so this covers that rule - might go back and re-paint this

I just love that craft! And the play hog logo too!! I've notice a seam on the olive drab bomb (second pic) that run from the front to the rear. Also, I don't think the landing gear was covered. I know it was hollow for the landing gear to fit into it.

She looks great Toad.. Since she is a tank killer and a virtual flying tank itself. The question I have is are you gonna weather her up a little??? If so don't forget to weather the payload as well.....
ok now for the nickpick that is really no big deal( Rivor Review rule). The only thing that jumps out is the Maverick and Sidewinder would have two stipes on it.. You got the inert warhead with the blue stripe If the motors are inert there is another blue stripe around 2/3 of the way down from the nose of the missles... If the motor is live it is a light brown almost tan color..
Like I said no real big deal there.. You go ther loaded for anything she may run into.
Looks great and mean too..... I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is a plane that i always liked but never tried to build...why ? i dont know. it is a nice build so far, painting seems nice. some items i picked..some bombs seem a lil seem that needed some treatment, and also the decals on the front (nose) seem to have no close touch with the model, maybe some air under or not sticked well (the bunny head especially ) .
wil be one nicely finished model. BRAVO
