Looks like a nice kit, and even better, it looks like Valom will be offering several more in this series, as I spy the Cowlings for a J2F-5/6, along with the narrow cord cowling and fuselage sides of the J2F series. With different decals, you might be able to convert this to a Coast Guard JF2. The later versions should give the old Airfix kit a run for its money. I’ve converted the Airfix -5 to a JF2, but is was a lot of work, this kit would make it easy to do.
