Good evening all!

I finally completed a project I wanted to do for a long time: An aerial refuelling diorama. I used AMP’s 1:144 KDC-10 with two F-16’s by Revell. The diorama depicts a KDC-10 of 334 Squadron RNLAF refuelling F-16’s from 322 Squadron during exercise Frisian Flag 2014. I hope you like it!

absolutely fantastic diorama, it's an amazing display, well done indeed. I think it's the first of it's type I have ever seen.

Jasper! Love the idea and how it turned out. And the DC-10 really looks good in these colours! I think I saw one of these parked in Nîmes in France like ten years ago or so.

The DC-10 is a beautiful plane in every colour, even in military colours.I saw this one a couple of times, a sight to behold!

Jasper, dioramas featuring aircraft are hard to pull off - but you managed this one very well. Excellent work!

Thank you for the kind words! Composition is critical for any diorama, but even more so with airplanes. Many lessons were learned for possible future projects!
