hopefully it has been brought up to current standards. And if not, there is an opening for aftermarket companies to assist. I'm in!

Interesting. I hope they have reworked the old Hap Dong/Kangnam AH-64. It was horrible. If is just a rebox, it will not be worth the glue. If it has been updated, I hope they follow it up with a more current AH-64D or E model. The A was upgraded years ago.

Sure looks like the old Revell 1/32 scale Apache, same big clunky details, no cable cutters, etc.

The 1/32 Monogram/Revell AH-64A is actually far superior to the Hap Dong/Kangnam AH-64s. The Monogram/Revell one is pretty true to scale and if you add the Verlinden update set, It can come out really nice.

As a bit of an exercise, I opened up the images of the kit at 1999 hobby search, and the walk around of a 64A on primeportal, to compare details. The kit is lacking in small bits and pieces here and there, ripe for an update set. Or just plain old hobby skills and time.
As far as dimensions go, I’d need the kit and some good plans to start making comparisons.
So, I’m not writing the kit off just yet, just looking for more info first.

Would the Imex 1/35 incarnation owe its lineage to the Revell kit? Because it was rough to say the least. However with TLC it came out looking enough like one.

I’d love a quality large scale Apache, my Revell bird is in pieces right now from a move, but will be digging it out soon. I’ve got approximately 150 built models to unpack, repair and find shelf space for
