Does anybody an extra canopy (actually only need the front wind screen) for the Tamiya FW 190 f-8 that they are willing to sell/donate? I screwed up my canopy I used the turtle wax advice(great!) but used a dremel tool to polish, good until the metal collett hit the canopy leaving a deep gouge. Can this be sanded or should I cut my loses and get a replacemnt canopy from a charitable person

D'oh. Sorry to hear about the canopy, though I'm glad it wasn't the polish that did it. Despite the temptation, I neve use the Dremel to polish plastic. Not only is the collet a gouge waiting to happen, just a little too much pressure or speed on the buffing wheel can cause the plastic to melt underneath it. I just spend the elbow grease (or, to scale, finger grease) to do it by hand.
