I just bought some Blue Max WWI planes. I know they are limited run; they look good though I note flash.
Do these fit well?
Any pearly drops of wisdom from those of you who have built these would be most appreciated.

Greetings JPTRR; It depends on which kit your concerned about. Each kit seems to have a problem or two. On the whole there is nothing that can't be fixed or replaced easily. Blue Max is of course the 1/48 scale version of Chris Gannon's 1/72 Pegasus. White metal and plastic are the usual mediums. There was a write up on the Blue Max, Sopwith Camel last summer in Model Aircraft Monthly (ComSAM in UK) They also did a piece on the Blue Max Roland in the Parent mag Scale Aircraft Modeling about two years ago. Anyone with moderate modeling abilities can work up a respectable version of any WWI Blue Max kit. One thing further. If a piece is missing or damaged. Do not expect Blue Max to replace a part quickly.
