I'm at the decal stage of Eduard's P39K/N and I am doing the version with the pin stripe decals around the wing walking area. I'm normally a figure armor guy and I got most of the pinstriping on but it looks to have some how twisted in a few spots and hasn't been my favorite part of the build.

I want to get them out. The twists have me ready to pull what's left of my hair out. My plan right now is to let them dry then head back tomorrow with micro sol to get those sections workable again so the parts that look good don't keep sliding around.

Anyone have experience with best practices for these pinstripes?

Try to add some more drops of water under them and float them into position then wick the water out using a paper towel.
