Hello,
So I was looking around for some 1/32 RFC ground crew and while I wasn't finding much, I did spot ICM's RAF set.
These look to be pre or early war and intended to go with their Gladiator.
So my question is, could these pass for RFC? Maybe with a little work and khaki overalls rather than blue.
Thinking of using them with the WNW Snipe or other another late war type.

Thanks

Unless they have any personal equipment which is clearly 1940s, I think that they can easily be made to appear as Great War ground crews. This page has a pretty good look at some typical ground crew clothing. Especially this photo:
EDIT: These ones appear to be exactly what you're after, and you can see that the ICM figures wouldn't look terribly much out of place.

Thanks Jessie, the photo confirms what I was thinking.
Some of the sets I did see had figures with ankle puttees. Didn't strike me as being very practical or necessary for grease monkeys.
I think the ICM set just has the figures and not much else. Certainly nothing that seems WW2 specific. Would have to look in my armour accessory bits for some tools.
I'll see if I can pick up a set and give them a go.
That site has some interesting stuff. Think I'll book mark it.
Cheers
Stephen

Thanks Richard.
Hadn't seen any of those in my searches. I like the bombing up set. Could certainly see myself using those.
