Any clue as to what the FS number is for the "Hot Pink" used by the Cal Guard on their helos used for wildfire fighting? Or did the buy a few rattle cans from Home Despot?

I don't know the exact color, but the paint is a water-based, temporary paint that is used. It is similar to the Tempra paints used by school kids for art projects.

Same as the C-130 MAFFS tankers here in Reno and at My old stomping grounds , by Channel Islands ANGB. Got their MAFFS system and day glo markings at the start of brush fire season and switched back to stock Hercs at the end. (course brush season is pretty much year round now.) Wonder why the helos just didn't filch paint from the Air Guard …. other than to annoy me.
